| Myra Savant-Harris Seminars Myra Savant-Harris, Labor & Delivery and Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse, knowledgeable breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and author of Canine Reproduction, Whelping: A Breeder’s Guide and Puppy Intensive Care will teach you to think and function like an RN in order to provide care for a bitch and her puppies. The techniques she teaches have helped save the lives of countless puppies and protected the well-being of many bitches. Her books and other whelping supplies will be available for purchase at the seminars. Canine Reproduction Seminar Friday, October 17th, 2008 5:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. testing, and use of chilled and frozen semen, & many other topics. Whelping/Puppy Intensive Care Seminar Saturday, October 18th, 2008 5:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. This seminar covers whelping, assessment of the sick newborn puppy, use of oxygen, use of Fresh Frozen Plasma, tube feeding, colostrum substitutes, sub-cutaneous hydration and many other topics relating to the care of your bitch and her puppies. No dogs will be allowed at the seminars. Both seminars will be held at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center (Show Site), Rapid City, South Dakota. When: Friday & Saturday October 17th & 18th, 2008 Where: Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn, Rapid City, SD 57701 Phone: 605-399-7032 Fee: The cost for either seminar alone will be $50.00 and the cost of both seminars will be $90.00, if your registration is received by October 1st. Please sign up early as space is limited. Registrations will be accepted in the order received. No refunds will be available, but you may sell your space. If space remains available, late admission will cost $60.00 for a single seminar or $110.00 for both seminars at the door. Schedule: For both days: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, An informal meal will be provided to seminar attendees both evenings. Who should attend? | The Rapid City Kennel Club has been awarded the Division 13 Regional Obedience Trials by the AKC, these trials are to take place during these shows. Points earned at these trials go toward an invitation to the National Obedience Invitational (NOI) at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship. |
